Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

RN – ICU (Oncology)

Schedule: Shift pattern: Must confirm shift on submittal (e.g., 3x12, 4x12) Weekend requirement: every other weekend

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36/week (can sign for 36 or 48 hrs/week)

Requirements: Minimum 2 years ICU experience Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS Epic experience required Must pass Relias EKG exam

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult patients in the ICU setting. Monitor and manage patient vital signs and health status, including dysrhythmia recognition. Administer medications, IVs, and blood products as required. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care. Perform phlebotomy and manage central/PICC lines as needed. Educate patients and families about health management post-discharge.

Compliance / Notes: Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract; no RTO allowed first week. Documentation due by 3 PM CST on the Monday before start. Must obtain necessary licensure prior to starting. Fit testing may be required; facial hair must allow for proper fit testing. COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only).
