Experienced MIG Welder

Job Type : Full-Time

Schedule: WELDERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL SHIFTS

1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6 AM to 2:00 PM

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2 PM to 10:00 PM

3rd Shift: Monday-Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Pay: $23.00-$25.00/hr DOE + OT opportunities

Summary: We are seeking a dependable Production MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. This position focuses on structural MIG welding in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have experience producing high-quality welds while meeting production and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform production MIG welding on structural steel components
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
• Set up and operate welding equipment according to specifications
• Ensure welds meet quality and structural standards
• Inspect completed welds and perform minor grinding or rework as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals

Qualifications

• Welding Certification highly preferred and/or 5+ years of consistent welding experience
• Previous MIG welding experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Experience performing structural welds preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure and basic blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Work Environment: This position is performed in a manufacturing/production setting. Candidates must be comfortable working on their feet for extended periods and around welding equipment, heat, and metal materials.
