Service Sales RepresentativeThe role of the Service Sales Representative is to drive new sales for the company in a professional manner consistent with the company's integrity and customer-care standards. Determine needs and provide solutions that solve the customer's issues and generate a high rate of referral-based sales.Hoffman Mechanical Solutions, a division of Hoffman & Hoffman, Inc., is a company focused on being #1 in the HVAC industry in providing the most innovative HVAC solutions through superior design and customer service.Service Sales Representative Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Present in-person proposals at Customers' facilityPerform sales presentations, as outlined in company selling process, using approved company presentation materials and methodsEducate potential customers on valueRefine communication skills and improve customer satisfaction processesKeep appointments with customers as scheduledParticipate in training as requested and neededMust demonstrate learning-retention and field-level application of knowledge and skills attained from all trainings providedTransfer all required information / communications after the call based on company process standards, this includes all pictures of the job and all necessary notes, drawings etc., to adequately communicate the job to the operations department in order for them to make the perfect installation; completing required sales reporting; being available to answer questions that may arise; and returning to completed jobs for quality checks, plant referral seedsStay in contact with the office and work from the office when not in the fieldFollow company procedures for generating referralsParticipate in sales meetingRepresent the company in a professional manner consistent with the company's integrity and customer-care standardsOther duties as assignedEducation and Experience:5+ years' experience in sales, preferably HVAC, Construction or ServiceBachelors Degree (preferably in engineering, math, or the sciences)Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong verbal and written communication skills (via phone, email and in-person)Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize workHigh attention to detail and accuracyProfessional appearance is a mustMust be mechanically inclined and possess a strong understanding of the psychology of salesSolid organizational and sales pipeline management skillsExcellent customer service skillsStrong time management skillsStrong problem solving and analytical thinking skillsWork independently and with team; consistently meet deadlines.Demonstrate sound judgment and good decision-making skillsMust be well organized and a "go-getter"Must be comfortable with all levels of people including all levels of clientsHigh Energy – able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work occasional evenings and weekendsAbility to travel occasionally, with some overnight staysSuccessfully build relationships (including remotely); strong people skills.Provide prompt solutions, highly responsive and superior customer service to inquiries and requestsAbility to effectively use Excel, Word, Outlook, and basic computer skills or the ability to learn them quicklyAbility to effectively lead small teamsMust possess a valid drivers licensePerformance Indicators:Frequency of meeting target revenue goals% of leads that should be self-generated leads/referralsCustomer satisfaction levelLead Generation processes done consistentlyProficiency with Company provided technologyCompleteness of sales documentation and paperworkNumber of jobs sold without error or omissionsPhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the individual, will be required to visually inspect all areas of customer sites, this requires the use of step ladders and occasionally lifting up to 30lbsUse of sight, touch and hearing senses will be required including but not limited to close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and sense of touchProper PPE may be required in commercial environments (hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, safety vest, gloves, and occasionally respirators)Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heatOccasional exposure to dusty and confining areas of a commercial space for short periods of timeOccasional exposure to loud environmentsWe are 100% employee-owned through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
