Outpatient Cancer Center Dietitian

Sodexo is seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Cancer Center Dietitian to provide nutrition care at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital. You will be the primary dietitian for the following clinics: Otolaryngology, Hematology and Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant, Radiation Oncology, and Infusion Center. Sodexo Benefits include: Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal Three weeks of vacation, eight holidays and three personal days paid each year Reimbursement for continuing education events Career advancement opportunities with Sodexo’s Clinical Career Ladder What You'll Do Position will report to the Clinical Nutrition Manager and the ideal candidate will: Be independent and reliable with time management skills Provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling to patients, including enteral nutrition support Be able to develop strong rapport with the nursing and medical staff to provide exemplary care to patients, staff and community Work with dietetic interns from Saint Louis University for acute care clinical training What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. We are looking for candidates who: Have a strong focus on driving outstanding patient satisfaction results and driving process improvement activities Are flexible, a team player, and possess good time management skills Be a Registered Dietitian, eligible for licensure in Missouri Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
