About the Position

Job Title: Nuclear Cardiology Technologist Profession: Allied Level 2 Nuclear Cardiology Technologist Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technology Duration: 13 months Shift: 5x8.0 Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience, 6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience License: Client Clienttion Technology License Certifications: NMTCB or ARRT(N), CT Certification Must-Have: BLS Certification Description: Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies (SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT) with precision and clinical expertise. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort while maintaining safety at all times. Acquire and process diagnostic images, perform daily quality control, and maintain radio pharmacy operations within regulatory guidelines. Manage and document patient data in the system and ensure compliance with all safety standards. Partner with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to implement new technologies and enhance lab protocols continuously. Uphold core values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence in every aspect of work. Conduct SPECT blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis evaluations, and a hybrid SPECT resting study followed by PET sarcoid or viability studies.
