Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough mental health assessments on elderly residents to ascertain their specific psychological needs and formulate tailored care plans.

• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions to help clients cope with emotional challenges, such as grief, loss, and major life transitions.

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop holistic care strategies that support both mental and physical health for our senior clients.

• Provide education and resources to staff and families, promoting understanding of mental health issues affecting elderly individuals and enhancing support strategies.

• Address end-of-life concerns through compassionate grief counseling for residents and their families, providing a safe space for emotional processing.

• Implement cognitive stimulation programs and therapeutic interventions that help maintain mental acuity among our elderly clients, such as reminiscence therapy and mindfulness practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a signing bonus.
