Position Title: Adjunct, Computer Science Time Type: Part time Position Summary Saint Joseph’s University’s Department of Computer Science has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to staff a variety of courses each semester. The department needs faculty to teach Introductory Programming (Java and Python), Computer Architecture, Internet Application Development, and Algorithms. Part‑time adjunct faculty may instruct 1 or 2 courses each semester on an “as needed” basis. Courses are offered during the day and evening. Duties and Responsibilities Teach specified courses. Prepare course materials. Provide support and guidance to students. Report grades and conduct assessment. Offer one hour of office hours per week. Minimum Requirements Master’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field. Previous teaching/training experience. Required Documents Cover letter / Letter of Interest. Resume / Curriculum Vitae. List of references. Optional Documents Statement of teaching philosophy. Teaching evaluations.
