Database Developer
We are hiring a Database Developer to join our client's Lenexa office. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing critical data systems. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience and must work on-site in Lenexa and have DBA experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance SSIS jobs and SQL stored procedures.
- Manage and update database schemas for on-premises SQL Server Data Warehouse and Azure-based Data Marts.
- Monitor overnight jobs, troubleshoot, and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform DBA tasks, including performance management, patching, and application upgrades for the Data Warehouse and OLTP SQL Server databases.
- Optionally, contribute to SSRS Reports and Power BI development (preferred but not required).
Core Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience as a Database Developer.
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and SQL.
- Experience maintaining database schemas and monitoring data processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on-site in Lenexa.
- DBA experience with SQL Server performance management, patching, and upgrades.
- Familiarity with SSRS Reports and Power BI (optional).
