Description

A Lot Coordinator manages the inventory, presentation, and flow of a company's lot, which can involve vehicles, equipment, or other goods. The job requires strong organizational skills, basic computer and customer service abilities, and a valid driver's license. Qualifications often include a high school diploma or GED, with some positions preferring experience in inventory management or equipment operation.

• Inventory management: Track, log, and account for all items on the lot, from new arrivals to stock levels.
• Lot maintenance: Keep the lot clean, presentable, and organized, including arranging vehicles and removing debris.
• Logistics: Move items around the lot, shuttle them to other locations like service departments or vendors, and assist with transportation.
• Merchandising: Ensure vehicles are properly displayed with correct pricing, stickers, and other documentation.
• Administrative tasks: Maintain fuel logs, file reports, and manage other requested documentation.
• Customer service: Assist customers and associates, handle inquiries, and sometimes provide shuttling services.

Qualifications

• Education: A high school diploma or GED is typically required.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, maintenance, or equipment operation is often preferred.
