Step into an impactful role supporting K-8 learners by providing speech-language therapy across two vibrant schools. This contract opportunity runs through May 2027 and offers a mix of engaging settings where you’ll collaborate with skilled colleagues and serve students with a range of abilities. You’ll have the chance to make a difference every day while working on site in schools located near Parrish and Bradenton, FL.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Active Florida SLP License required
• Prior experience in a school setting, with K–8 populations preferred
• Strong skills in both direct therapy and collaborative consultation
• Knowledge of supporting students in both cognitive and behavioral exceptionalities
• Ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and adapt communication styles for diverse learners
• Commitment to on-site work in a school environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide full-time (35 hours/week) speech-language services across Buffalo Creek Middle School and Prine Elementary
• Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students at Buffalo Creek, plus 10 students on consult
• Support a diverse mix of PK programs and special education classes at Prine Elementary, collaborating with another experienced SLP and a part-time SLPA
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, documentation, and student progress tracking
• Tailor intervention plans for individual and group therapy to meet student needs
• Mentor and support colleagues as needed
