Make a meaningful impact in the school community near Bradenton, FL by providing essential speech-language pathology services to students. This contract position offers the opportunity to work full-time across Buffalo Creek Middle School and Prine Elementary, supporting a diverse caseload and collaborating with dedicated peers. You'll play a key role in helping students overcome communication challenges, partnering with educators, and participating in a supportive educational environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Florida SLP license required
• Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to manage a varied caseload (PK–middle school, including low cognitive, behavioral, ASD, and integrated classrooms)
• ASHA certification (CCC) preferred; CFY considered for qualified candidates

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students, designing individualized intervention plans
• Manage a caseload of approximately 50+ students receiving direct services and 10 students on consult at Buffalo Creek Middle, and join a team supporting up to 95 students at Prine Elementary
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to support student progress and IEP goals
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
• Attend meetings and provide recommendations for student programming as needed
• Support a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
