Step into a fulfilling opportunity supporting students’ communication needs at two vibrant school campuses in the Bradenton area. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators and therapy professionals to deliver high-quality speech-language services where they’re most needed.

In this contract position, you will provide on-site support at Buffalo Creek Middle School and Prine Elementary, working full-time (35 hours per week) through late May 2027. At Buffalo Creek, you'll serve approximately 50 students directly and consult on 10 additional cases, including students in low cognitive and behavior support units. You'll appreciate a positive environment enhanced by a highly regarded principal. At Prine Elementary, join a passionate group including a seasoned SLP and a fantastic part-time SLPA. Students at Prine range from intensive pre-K to integrated and low cognitive support classrooms, with a combined therapy caseload of about 95 students across the team.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP)
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Background working with varied caseloads, including behavioral and cognitive needs
• Comfortable collaborating in teams and independently managing therapy plans
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work across elementary and middle school age groups

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct and consultative services, monitoring student progress
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other therapists
• Maintain thorough evaluation, progress, and compliance documentation
• Support multidisciplinary teams contributing to student success
