Project Manager – Product Development Glen Raven is recruiting a Project Manager to lead new product development activities from exploration through launch, working with cross‑functional teams across product management, engineering, service, manufacturing, supply chain, marketing, quality, IT and finance. Responsibilities Provide project management leadership to teams for new product development projects, including creating schedules, building product development plans and integrating the activities of cross‑functional team members. Lead weekly internal project team status meetings to ensure alignment and forecast future project needs. Work closely with cross‑functional teams such as internal creative department, marketing managers, sales managers, design leads and upper management to clarify and ensure market‑specific strategies and objectives remain aligned throughout project development. Establish, manage, track and report project budgets. Execute and suggest improvements to the product development process. Utilize the Glen Raven stage‑gate process as the key driver of product development progression. Define and drive risk and mitigation plans for projects. Define and lead contingency option assessments when needed, then select and execute mitigation plans. Manage attributes and decisions such as make‑vs‑buy, shipping and logistics cost, and bidding process. Identify, evaluate and document lessons learned during the project and communicate best practices to future projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship or related field, or equivalent education. PMP or other formal project management certification preferred. At least 5 years of progressive experience in engineering, project engineering, project management, product management or related new product development field. High level ability to deliver results while managing multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing and quality. Demonstrated ability to influence people and teams that are not direct reports. Excellent team building, leadership, organizational and decision‑making skills. Strong understanding of engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, service, customer service, finance, sales and marketing as related to product design and development. Self‑driven, highly motivated, flexible with a strong work ethic. Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Advanced computer software proficiency (MS Office Suite, project management software).
