Calls insurance companies to get medications approved that may have been denied due to formulary changes. Qualifications Education Required: High school diploma/GED. Preferred: Completion of a medical assisting or medical office assistant program. Experience Required: Must have a minimum of four years of experience working in a medical office setting Certifications Preferred: Healthcare management/administration or Medical Assistant certification Tenet Healthcare/TPR complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
