POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager, Legal Operations & Compliance, is a strategic leader responsible for optimizing the Legal and Compliance functions’ performance and managing enterprise legal risks. This role combines legal operations, compliance oversight, enterprise risk management, and administrative support responsibilities to ensure efficient delivery of legal services, effective governance, and protection of the Company's business interests. The position serves as a key partner to executive leadership while overseeing operational, compliance, reporting, and administrative activities that support the Legal and Compliance function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead day-to-day operations of the Legal & Compliance function, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with business objectives. Develop and implement policies, workflows, and KPIs to improve legal service delivery and productivity Oversee legal department budgeting, forecasting, and spend analytics; identify cost-saving opportunities Drive adoption and optimization of legal tech tools (e-billing, supplier risk mitigation, matter management systems) Implement automation and data analytics to improve workflows and decision-making Lead RFP processes and benchmarking for legal and compliance services Develop enterprise risk frameworks, controls, and reporting processes Partner with regional compliance and finance to ensure risk alignment and governance Lead person managing global Ethics Line Ensure adherence with laws, regulatory requirements and corporate policies Support contract management, compliance programs, and any regulatory filings Advise business leaders on legal risk exposure Oversee litigation tracking, claim trends, and risk mitigation strategies Support strategic initiatives such as M&A, restructuring, and global expansion Manage administrative operations for the Legal & Compliance function, including records management, document retention, departmental reporting, and maintenance of legal and compliance files Coordinate department activities, including meeting scheduling, preparation of presentations and reports, tracking action items, and providing administrative support to CHRO & General Counsel

QUALIFICATIONS

8-12+ years of experience in risk management and/or corporate legal environments Strong knowledge of corporate law, compliance, and enterprise risk frameworks Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or highly regulated industries preferred Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and large-scale operational initiatives Strategic thinking and business acumen Data-driven decision-making and financial management Risk assessment and mitigation expertise #J-18808-Ljbffr Superior Industries
