This role will be located at Discovery Land Company’s Hamptons locations: Dune Deck Beach Club, set in Westhampton Beach, New York and The Hills set in East Quogue, New York. Employer of record is: DLV Hamptons Management LLC Overview The Hills is seeking Seasonal Line Cooks to join the Culinary Department. This role is available April 20, 2026 – October 7, 2026. H-2B visa sponsorship is available for in-country extensions. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees. Key Responsibilities Prepare food items per standard recipe while maintaining portion control and minimizing waste. Stock kitchen with all necessary ingredients. Assist on all stations on the line as needed for each meal period. Maintain and clean equipment according to the opening and closing checklists. Promptly report any hazards, unsafe working conditions, or equipment which requires repair/maintenance. Adhere to all Department of Health food and safety standards. Always comply with company and department policies and procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas. Demonstrate the ability to execute recipes and to follow house-made ingredients promptly and efficiently. Ensure all food is plated and presented accordingly and demonstrate a sense of urgency for responding to guest needs during all interactions. Qualifications Twelve (12) months of experience in high-volume restaurants, resort, or private club. Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts greater than eight (8) hours. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Ability to stand, walk, and move for more than four (4) hours. Ability to lift, carry, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push and pull. May be required to lift and carry items sometimes more than 50 pounds. Knowledge of ServSafe and safe food handling practices. Background check will be performed at the expense of the employer. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest times. Benefits Pay Range: $21.00 - $32.00 USD per hour; based on experience Employee Meals, Referral Incentives, and Recognition Programs Optional housing is offered through a separate rental company for those outside of a commutable distance. Cost of housing and utilities, if accepted, is $100.00 - $150.00 per week for a shared room. Employer will not deduct for rent; rent will be paid directly to a separate company via electronic payment, no cash.
