Key Qualifications:

• Valid and unrestricted RN license.
• At least one year of current experience circulating in the operating room.
• BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred.
• Strong understanding of perioperative nursing principles and aseptic technique.
• Excellent critical thinking, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to respond efficiently in urgent or emergent surgical situations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment in accordance with policy.
• Assess patient needs prior to, during, and post-surgery.
• Serve as a scrub and circulating nurse, supporting surgeons and OR team.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to intraoperative complications.
• Document all care accurately in the medical record.
