Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist Classification: Non-Exempt, Full-Time, Onsite Industry: Automotive Repair Jones Networking is recruiting for an Accounts Receivable (AR) professional to join an Auto Repair Shop in Springfield, VA. Accounts Receivable Specialist Position Summary: Generate and send invoices, process and apply customer payments and reconcile accounts. Prepare and distribute accurate customer invoices in a timely manner based on contracts and sales orders. Record and apply payments across multiple formats (checks, ACH, wire transfers, credit cards) and reconcile daily payment batches. Monitor accounts receivable aging and identify overdue accounts. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short-pays, and customer inquiries while maintaining positive client relationships. Perform data entry and assist with general clerical support within the Accounting Department. Qualifications Summary: Minimum two years experience in accounts receivables. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Knowledge or experience with Andreoli Software is a plus. Efficient and accurate data entry skills. High attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Solid verbal and written communication for client interactions. High School Diploma or equivalent.
