Additional certifications or training in quality control is a plus.Experience Requirements and Job Duties: Experience inspecting manufactured products using established quality standards and specifications. Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, or inspection documents. Knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring devices. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and document inspection results accurately. Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Previous experience in industrial manufacturing highly desirable. Experience in reading electrical schematics. Familiarity with testing equipment and measurement tools; experience with a multimeter is required. Knowledge and experience in both A/C and D/C electricity. Experience in troubleshooting electrical circuits using schematics and a multimeter. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.Preferred Qualifications: Previous quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred. Technical training in manufacturing, quality assurance, or inspection procedures is beneficial. Experience performing first article, in-process, or final product inspections is beneficial. Knowledge of ISO standards, statistical process control, quality documentation, or corrective action procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate accuracy, professionalism, and a commitment to producing high-quality work are well positioned for success as a Quality Inspector.Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift. Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required. Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy.
