Job Description As a Security Officer Front Desk Reception in Charleston, WV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor alarm panels, and support a professional, secure environment. You will use computer or tablet systems, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.56 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat07:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and/or clients at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Serve as a professional front-desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying identification and appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests according to site procedures. Monitor access to the facility, maintain visitor and incident logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures. Answer incoming calls, receive deliveries, and provide general lobby support while helping to maintain a welcoming and controlled entry environment. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
