Project Overview:

The consultant will take over responsibilities to oversee factory accounting and support the local team. This position requires a professional who can operate independently once up & running.

responsibilities:

• Manage journal entries, month-end close, inventory and factory-specific reporting.
• Oversee and review the work of the site "bidding team" (3 employees).
• Perform revenue recognition using various methods for manufacturing.
• Bridge data gaps between the current system and manual spreadsheets to provide actionable information.
• Pass knowledge and mentorship to junior and mid-level accounting staff.

 
qualifications:

• Must have a background equivalent to a Senior Cost Accountant
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Expert-level Excel skills are mandatory ("living on Excel") to manage manual tracking and data consolidation across multiple departments.
• Deep understanding of Standard Costing and ASC 606 Revenue Recognition.
• System Experience: Hands-on experience with manufacturing ERPs is highly preferred.
