Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in City Of Industry, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:30 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:30 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:30 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:30 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:30 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial distribution location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards. Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required entry and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed. Observe and report conditions that may affect operations, property, or personnel, and communicate findings through detailed shift reports. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
