Central Sterile Supervisor - Irvine Sterile Processing - F/T, Night Shift

Your Role on the Team Position Summary The Sterile Processing Dept. Supervisor will supervise, prioritize, and coordinate team workflow for the shift, ensuring appropriate decontamination, cleaning, processing, and sterilization of supplies and equipment. The supervisor acts as a resource, ensures infection control practices are followed, coordinates, plans, and assigns workloads, manages employee activities, time reporting, scheduling, and performance evaluations. This role is responsible for maintaining excellent customer service and effective operations. What It Takes to be Successful Required Qualifications Successful completion of an accredited school of Sterile Processing or Surgical Technology or 18 months relevant Sterile Processing experience Minimum three years’ work experience as a CST in a leadership capacity Knowledge and practice of infectious control techniques and medical terminology Current CRCST or CST certification Preferred Qualifications Prior supervisory experience Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced healthcare environment Total Rewards We offer a wealth of benefits including medical insurance, sick and vacation time, retirement savings plans, and access to discounts and perks.
