Cardiac Cath Lab Manager

The Manager-Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for daily leadership and oversight of the procedural and pre/post care units of the cardiac cath lab and/or electrophysiology (EP) lab. Supervises, coordinates, and evaluates operational activities to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care. Works closely with the Director and leadership across the cardiovascular service line to accomplish goals and objectives related to quality, growth, fiscal responsibility. Position Specifics Core Function: Leadership Schedule: Full time, 40 hrs/wk, Days Facility: St. John's Hospital Location: Springfield, IL Compensation: Aligns with experience Education Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing, radiologic technology, allied health, applied sciences or related field is required. Master's Degree in nursing, radiologic technology, healthcare administration or related field is preferred. Experience Qualifications 3 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab is required. 3 years of supervisory/team lead or demonstrated leadership experience is required. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Radiographer in the state of practice is required. If Radiographer, certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. Advanced certification in area of expertise is preferred: Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) from American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) certification from ARRT, OR certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
