Dental Assistant

Are you a highly skilled clinical professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join the team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional patient care, seamlessly balancing expert chairside support. You will be a vital link for our diverse community, using your communication skills to ensure every patient feels safe, respected, and fully informed throughout their treatment journey.

salary: $30 - $35 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Solid working knowledge of current dental terminology, instruments, equipment, materials, and four-handed techniques.
• Demonstrated mastery of OSHA/CDC infection control, sterilization procedures, and room sanitation
• Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage inventory, and maintain professional composure in a high-volume, crowded environment.
• A proven ability to establish cooperative, professional relationships with faculty, clinicians, staff, and students while adhering closely to organizational patient-care policies.
• Provide expert four-handed dentistry, anticipate provider needs, and assist seamlessly across a variety of advanced dental and surgical procedures.
• Deliver exceptional patient relations, collect accurate medical histories, and explain complex procedures and post-op care confidently
• Manage clinical inventory, properly store dental materials, and keep clinical spaces running smoothly despite frequent interruptions and competing demands.
• Maintain a calm, professional demeanor while quickly recognizing and responding to any dental emergencies.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• standing for 5 hours at one time
