Situated in the heart of Florham Park, NJ, our practice offers a remote work setting, allowing our counselors flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with our clients. Standard hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with some evening and weekend sessions to accommodate client schedules. Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain an active caseload of clients, establishing rapport and nurturing therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct thorough intake assessments, identifying individual client needs and preferences to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitate regular sessions to monitor client progress, discuss stability, and address treatment goals, transitioning clients to discharge when appropriate.

• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Participate in individual supervision sessions, embracing a growth mindset to enhance skill sets and treatment strategies.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists and psychiatrists, to provide integrated care and comprehensive support for clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• Current and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status in New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in an outpatient clinical setting.

• Proficiency in utilizing technology for administrative tasks, including familiarity with Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY.

• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to diverse individuals and families, demonstrating a keen understanding of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.

• Strong ability to conduct initial assessments and engage clients effectively in their therapeutic journeys.
