Senior Account Executive, Physician Sales - Danbury, CT/Mount Kisco, NY

Position Overview The Senior Account Executive (SAE) is responsible for increasing patient start volumes at a customer level to ensure the market delivers same-store growth (their budgeted volume commitments) within their assigned market and leads in the development and success of the Account Executive (AE) Team. The SAE is responsible for assuring the success of the outreach and sales program within their market, analyzing physician referral trends and patterns to develop customer-level sales and growth plans, identifying opportunities to increase volume with existing referrers, and developing new referral channels. The SAE will ensure that their team has the tools needed to successfully meet same-store growth volume targets, regardless of shifts in the market, and will plan for backfills to compensate for losses due to changes in physician activity. Responsibilities Work in conjunction with VP of Physician Sales, Operations leadership, Clinical Team, Marketing, and local partner(s) to establish sales and marketing plans that deliver on budgeted patient starts driving same-store growth locally. Utilize resources such as Mosaiq, Aria, or Qlikview to track volume activity while leveraging SalesForce to document call activities with customers. Analyze market account referral patterns; monitor variances and trends in the existing referral base to strategically plan time in the field and develop action plans. Work with Sales, Marketing, and Operations leadership to determine possible causes for changes in referral patterns and implement solutions as necessary. Collaborate with Operations leadership to provide accurate monthly future volume forecasts. Participate in budgeting meetings to set growth goals for the market and the AE team. Support partnership initiatives, represent the company and partnership equally, and foster cross-divisional relationships and training opportunities. Lead a Team Development and continuing education task force, support AE onboarding, and advocate for conceptual selling concepts. Lead special projects necessary to drive same-store growth within the market and participate in or lead business meetings providing status updates. Serve as a subject matter expert for the market and partner with marketing to strategize key initiatives that support growth. Qualifications Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience. 5‑7 years of medical office sales experience or business-to-business healthcare sales experience with at least 5 years of successful healthcare sales (or service-based sales) or clinical experience in a healthcare environment. Ability to lead peers and develop team members, demonstrating strong business acumen and an understanding of sales and physician engagement. Demonstrated success in a competitive selling environment. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Ability to execute a territory development plan and build a collaborative team culture. Preferred Qualifications Prior imaging and/or oncology experience. Strategic thinker and self-starter. Physical Requirements Standard office environment; may be exposed to environmental hazards such as noise. More than 50% of the time: sit, stand, walk, repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements, and ability to see, speak, and hear to communicate with patients. Less than 50% of the time: stoop, kneel, crawl, climb, balance; carry and lift 10‑20 lbs.
