Database Administrator
Veridic Solutions
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily operational database administration activities in a production enterprise environment.Plan, design, implement, and support database structures (schemas, tables, indexes, storage, etc.) to meet system requirements and standards.Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning, including troubleshooting and remediation of production issues.Assist in the design, development, optimization, and amendment of database schemas and related structures.Develop and maintain DBA procedures and technical documentation.Perform SQL code reviews and help enforce database standards and best practices.Support database work for application enhancements and rewrites, partnering with project and data stakeholders.Provide training/mentoring to other technical staff as needed.Contribute to an overall data architecture approach that supports organizational needs and security standards.
