Job Opportunities at Texas State University Nontenure Line Faculty Pool - Department of Marketing Position Title: Nontenure Line Faculty Pool - Department of Marketing Job Posting Number: 2026148NTL Job Location(s): Dallas, Houston, Round Rock, San Marcos, Other – Online College/Division: McCoy College of Business Department/School: Department of Marketing Position Description The Department of Marketing in the McCoy College of Business seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary (nontenured) faculty to teach Marketing courses. Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester, with teaching appointments based upon student demand on a semester‑by‑semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations, continuity of funding, and departmental need. Successful candidates may teach at the San Marcos, TX TXST campus; the Round Rock, TX TXST campus; the Houston – San Jacinto College Campus; the Dallas College Campus; and/or online, depending on the needs of the academic department. This posting is for the Summer 2026, Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. Please note that this posting is not intended to convey that such a need currently exists. Required Qualifications Minimum master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field. Preferred Qualifications Previous teaching experience.
