Payroll Manager

A growing construction company in the Walton / Newton County area has an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Manager! Position is Direct Hire / $90,000-$100,000 per year in office. This is a chance to build out the payroll function of a company that's growing by leaps and bounds! What You’ll Do Own weekly payroll processing for all employees, currently all based in Georgia Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, per diem, shift differentials, and job-based pay accurately Review time records and approve time off before processing Handle new hires, terminations, pay changes, and transfers within the payroll system Ensure compliance with FLSA, wage and hour law, garnishments, child support orders, and tax withholding Manage payroll tax filings and deposits, plus year-end W-2 processing Reconcile payroll registers to the general ledger and prepare payroll journal entries Provide labor cost reports tied to job costing, since hours here are tracked by project Partner with HR on benefits deductions, leave, and comp changes, and with Operations on labor allocation Support internal and external audits with payroll documentation Supervise payroll staff if assigned, and help build out payroll procedures as the company scales What We’re Looking For 5+ years of progressively responsible payroll experience Experience with Paycor, ADP, or Paycom Advanced Excel skills Comfort managing payroll through growth or multi-location complexity Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred 2+ years of payroll leadership or supervisory experience CPP certification preferred Impact Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation or gender identity) national origin, disability, age (40 or older) or genetic information including family medical history. #IND3 #J-18808-Ljbffr
