Manager, Data Analytics

Overview The BTI Analytics team within the Business and Technology Insights (BTI) Business Unit performs analysis related to all aspects of Gartner’s business, providing actionable recommendations and insights to improve client value, retention, associate performance, financials, and demand sensing. Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end deliverables for key interaction and event analytics projects, such as reducing friction in the inquiry process and measuring interaction quality. Design, implement, and refine analytics solutions that measure and improve interactions performance (e.g., cycle time, due‑date achievement, fulfillment rate). Develop comprehensive dashboards and insights packs that communicate performance, conduct root‑cause analyses, and highlight trends and opportunities. Manage a small team of analysts, coaching them to be world‑class analytical experts and to deliver data‑driven insights. Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, Interactions Operations, Content Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Science, and Global Product Management to prioritize initiatives and ensure seamless communication. Lead efforts to automate dashboards, reports, and analyses, improving scalability and efficiency. Communicate findings clearly, crafting compelling stories that influence senior‑level stakeholders. Qualifications 8+ years of progressive experience in advanced business analytics, complex problem solving, and business strategy. Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred, especially in statistics, data science, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or operations research. Proven track record of solving complex problems, critical thinking, analytical reasoning, innovation, and using data to influence stakeholders. Strong technical understanding of data, with skills in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools such as Power BI. Experience in statistical analysis, identifying patterns and trends, and applying appropriate models. Ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., CoPilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) is preferred. Strong prioritization, ability to work in fast‑paced, competing‑priority environments. Leadership skills: ability to lead and coach teams and engage stakeholders across functions. Excellent verbal and written communication. Benefits Salary range: 98,000 USD – 133,000 USD. Compensation may include an annual bonus plan or a role‑based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
