Title
Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care Unit

Schedule
Varied 10-hour Day or Night Shifts
12hr/36hrs/week
80-hours per two-week pay period

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained by the last day of the month after the 6-month grace period
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in nursing
- Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 5 years preferred
- 2-3 years experience in Critical Care preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit.
- Apply the nursing process in assessing and implementing patient care.
- Document patient care accurately in the medical record.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Educate patients and families about health management and treatment plans.
- Respond to emergency situations and patient crises with appropriate interventions.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation and training provided as necessary.
- Background checks and drug screenings are required.
- Attendance and punctuality are essential.
