Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality intermediate care to patients in a specialized Medical, Surgical, or Stepdown unit. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care while adhering to hospital and state guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records.
• Respond promptly and effectively to patient emergencies and urgent situations.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse license in the state of Oregon.
• Obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of three years of recent acute care hospital experience, with 2-3 years in critical care or intermediate/progressive care preferred.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Possess proficiency in computer and electronic medical record systems.
