Responsibilities: • Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer’s individual needs • Remain updated about insurance industry changes that may affect customers in your portfolio • Offer personal attention when pursuing new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders • Spend time listening to existing, new, and prospective clients to evaluate their needs and stage-of-life priorities before presenting insurance plan options for their specific circumstances • Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals • Stay abreast of market changes and rates • A good note-taker and problem-solver • Ability to learn new things • Comfortable using new software programs • Ability to answer 30-40 calls per day • Build and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with policyholders • Ensure all activities comply with state regulations and carrier underwriting guidelines Qualifications: • Job seekers must already have or be willing to get an insurance license • Open to embracing the insurance industry and becoming educated about its relevant state and federal regulations • Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial • Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required • Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial • Must have a Personal Lines Insurance Agent license • Positive attitude • Typing skills • Quiet home office • High-speed home internet connection • Be a responsible and reliable member of the team • Comfortable with taking a high volume of inbound calls • Complete our training and development courses • Completing tasks assigned in a fast-paced environment • Able to multitask • Manage multiple computer programs, including CRM and carrier websites • Comfortable being on the phone • Ability to learn new things quickly • Self-motivated Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 yearly
