Work Environment\n

This position is a remote opportunity, allowing for flexible work arrangements while maintaining effective communication and collaboration with the team. Working from the comfort of your home, you will be expected to adhere to an Monday-through-Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs. Leveraging modern telehealth technologies, you'll provide effective mental health support and therapy to our young patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately evaluate the needs of children and adolescents seeking our services.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans, taking into consideration the individual developmental stages and family dynamics of each young patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, fostering resilience and coping mechanisms to address various mental health concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at equipping parents and caregivers with tools and strategies to nurture healthy family environments.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure cohesive and coordinated mental health care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies involving children and adolescents, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health topics, treatment options, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements.

• Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations to enhance service delivery and personal professional development.

• Continuously update knowledge in child and adolescent psychiatry through ongoing research, training opportunities, and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on children and adolescents grappling with mental health issues, offering specialized care tailored to the unique needs of younger patients. Working alongside experienced child psychiatrists, you will be instrumental in facilitating patient growth and progression, addressing complex psychological issues in a compassionate and supportive manner.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders impacting children and adolescents, including evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic techniques.

• Proven experience in delivering both individual and family therapy effectively to young populations is essential.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on a compassionate, child-centered approach.

• Demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with children, adolescents, and their families to foster effective therapeutic relationships.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications vital for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 110,000 per year, in addition to performance-based bonuses that recognize your contributions.
