Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments by interviewing students and their family members, reviewing medical and educational records to identify emotional and socio-environmental factors affecting recovery and academic performance.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to help students and their caregivers navigate adjustment issues, cope with grief, and develop effective strategies for personal growth and rehabilitation.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and psychologists, to create and implement comprehensive, personalized treatment plans aimed at enhancing each student’s rehabilitation journey.

• Assist students in accessing community resources, such as local support groups, vocational programs, or therapeutic services, to ensure they receive the necessary support before and after rehabilitation.

• Educate families on the array of community services available, guiding them on how these resources can assist in sustaining post-rehabilitation success and independence.

• Participate actively in discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition from educational settings to home or other care environments, while providing follow-up support when needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will work predominantly with school-aged children and adolescents facing a range of challenges, including emotional disturbances, behavioral issues, and developmental delays. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
