Stainless Steel/Aluminum Fabricator

As a TIG Welder – Aluminum/Stainless at Hanover Iron Works, you will weld and finish metal components using welding and grinding techniques to meet quality and project specifications. Daily Responsibilities TIG weld Aluminum and Stainless Handrails. Use angle grinder and finishing tools to achieve the proper finish called out. Operate cold saw, band saw, pipe‑notcher and grinder. Operate overhead crane. Operate forklift and pallet jack. Use jigs, welding torches and hand tools. Qualifications Experience with Tig welding of Aluminum and Stainless Steel. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, tool‑box shop talks, safety procedures, Operator's Manuals and maintenance instructions. Experience using tape measures and hand tools. Requires knowledge of various tools for fabrication and layout. Ability to use basic math and geometry. Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing schedule and switch from job to job.
