About the Role
The Company is in search of a Division Head for Neonatology, a role that demands an exemplary leader to provide strategic direction during a period of significant growth and transformation. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and executing the division's strategic vision, overseeing all aspects of clinical care, research, education, advocacy, and administrative operations. This leadership position requires a strategic and thoughtful individual with a robust background in an academic medical center setting, a strong commitment to faculty mentorship, and a proven track record of scholarly activity in neonatology. The Division Head will also be the key representative in interactions with various stakeholders, including department and hospital leadership, external groups, and philanthropic donors. Applicants for the Division Head position should be MD or DO, or MD/PhD, with board certification in Pediatrics and Neonatology-Perinatal Medicine, and a minimum of 5-7 years' post-fellowship clinical experience in neonatology. The role demands a candidate with demonstrated leadership in clinical care, research, education, and/or administration, as well as strong clinical expertise and a commitment to faculty mentorship. The ideal candidate will have a strategic and thoughtful leadership approach, be adept at managing divisional operations, and have a clear vision for the future of the division. Medical licensure in Illinois or the ability to obtain it is also a requirement.
