Senior Service Technician

Use active verbs and concise phrasing.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipmentPerform repairs, component replacements, inspections, and preventative maintenanceRead and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematicsUtilize ERP and service management systems to enter and update:Work Orders (WOs)Purchase Orders (POs)Parts requestsService documentation and technician notesCreate accurate parts requisitions and maintain clear service recordsGenerate detailed field service reports outlining work completed and issues resolvedInspect equipment for wear, damage, and safety concernsProvide excellent customer support and communicate repair recommendations clearlySupport and mentor less experienced technicians as neededQualifications/ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of experience working on construction, heavy diesel, or industrial equipmentStrong experience with hydraulics, electrical systems, diesel engines, and troubleshootingAbility to utilize ERP systems and computer software for service documentation and workflow managementComfortable using laptops, tablets, email, and digital diagnostic toolsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently in both shop and field environmentsWelding and fabrication experience is a plusMust possess a valid CDL license or successfully obtain one within 30 days of employment. Continued employment in this position is contingent upon maintaining a valid CDL and acceptable driving record.Must be able to pass a background check and drug screeningPhysical Requirements / Work EnvironmentMust be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularlyAbility to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods of timeWork is primarily performed in a service center/shop environmentMay occasionally be required to travel to and work at customer locations to perform field repairs and service workAbility to safely operate tools, equipment, and machinery in both shop and field environmentsMust be able to work in varying weather, noise, and temperature conditions as neededMinimum of 5 years of experience working on construction, heavy diesel, or industrial equipmentStrong experience with hydraulics, electrical systems, diesel engines, and troubleshootingAbility to utilize ERP systems and computer software for service documentation and workflow managementComfortable using laptops, tablets, email, and digital diagnostic toolsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently in both shop and field environmentsWelding and fabrication experience is a plusMust possess a valid CDL license or successfully obtain one within 30 days of employment.
