Sr. Service Technician

Overview Join Trane Technologies as a Service and Maintenance Technician supporting HVAC systems in commercial environments. You will be the primary customer contact for a defined market that includes healthcare, process manufacturing, educational institutions, and office complexes. Responsibilities End‑to‑end testing, downloading programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing assigned HVAC projects. Act as the direct customer contact, ensuring satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment on site. Coordinate with team leader/project manager to understand requirements, forecast issues and synchronize on‑site work. Utilize cutting‑edge software, hand‑tools, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units. Maintain safety standards and secure company assets. Mentor team members and maintain customer‑service dedication, including flexibility for overtime, weekend, and occasional overnight stays. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent plus certificate of completion from an accredited technical school/apprenticeship. At least 10 years of HVAC experience. Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with handheld computing devices (smartphone, iPad). Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major traffic violations in the last 3 years. EPA or related certifications preferred (e.g., HVAC Journeyman, 06a electrical license, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer). Compensation Hourly Base Pay Range: $68.47. Compensation may vary based on seniority, merit, location, education, experience, travel, and union designation. No incentive, commission, or sales eligibility.
