Scheduler

Cadence McShane is looking for a Scheduler !

As a Scheduler, you will play a meaningful role in supporting the success of our award-winning construction projects. You'll assist in developing and maintaining detailed schedules using P6 software, collaborate with project managers and superintendents, and work alongside an experienced scheduler. Responsibilities

• Assist in developing detailed project schedules using P6 software.
• Coordinate with project managers, preconstruction, marketing, and other team members to gather information and help align schedules with project goals.
• Support the project controls team in integrating scheduling activities across projects.
• Collaborate with Project Superintendents on timelines and milestones.
• Participate in weekly progress meetings with project teams and the Project Superintendent.
• Assist in preparing schedule reports for project teams and stakeholders.
• Help monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and support corrective action recommendations.
• Regularly review and update schedules for accuracy under the guidance of senior schedulers.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination of scheduling activities across projects.
• Support the development of project plans and risk management strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• 2-7 years of experience in construction scheduling (internship or co-op experience welcome)
• Basic construction knowledge and familiarity with construction processes and terminology
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices
• Exposure to P6 or other scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative scheduling team
