Role summary Janitorial associates ensure customers have a great first and last impression of our stores. They look after the cleanliness of the store from the parking lot to restrooms to the receiving area, maintaining a clean and safe environment. You might be the first, last, and sometimes only associate a customer interacts with. You must smile, greet, and thank every customer. You are an ambassador of Walmart. The pace can be intense, especially in the evenings, weekends, and holiday seasons. You may need to juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping customers: scanning items, explaining a price, bagging items, handling cash, and keeping your area clean.
