Role Description
Responsible for developing and executing product line plans and assortments that reflect Nike’s sport vision, brand strategy, and financial goals across five key territories.
- Play a central role in assessing franchise and classification health.
- Guide product lifecycle decisions and lead critical checkpoints such as line planning and assortment reviews.
- Leverage marketplace data to analyze consumer behavior and guide seasonal strategy.
- Craft insights that fuel business growth and sharpen product direction.
- Serve as a strategic connector between APLA and Global Merchandising and product creation teams.
- Deliver qualitative and quantitative insights to inform global product decisions.
- Lead, strategize, foresight, and collaborate influence across Global, Geo, and Territory teams.
- Ensure cohesive seasonal execution and marketplace impact.
Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
- 84 months of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in a job offered or in a business-related occupation.
Requirements
- Merchandising, product creation, and/or retail, in a vertical or wholesale environment.
- Footwear, apparel and/or equipment merchandising.
- Retail math and profit-based metrics.
- Business/Financial Acumen.
- Merchandising.
- Product Knowledge (FW/AP/EQ).
- Data Analysis & Visualization.
- Tableau.
- Merchandising system and tools (Assortment Visual and MerchMan X).
