Role Overview

Help refine next-generation AI systems by turning short video clips into precise, high-quality training data. As a Video Annotation Expert, you will identify and describe recurring events in video while ensuring each annotation meets exacting accuracy and consistency standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and segment recurring events in short video clips according to project guidelines.
• Record precise start and end timestamps for every detected event.
• Write concise, clear, and consistent descriptions for annotated events.
• Maintain strict data-labeling quality and consistency standards across submissions.
• Use written and verbal communication to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities.
• Review and refine your own work as project guidance evolves.

Qualifications

• Native-level English proficiency, written and spoken.
• Experience in video annotation, content moderation, writing, video editing, videography, or a closely related field.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accurate data labeling.
• Ability to follow detailed annotation guidelines and adapt quickly to feedback.
• Experience with AI training projects or machine-learning data annotation is a plus.
• No prior AI experience is required.

Work Terms

• Remote independent-contractor engagement.
• Open to candidates located in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom.

Compensation

$65 to $80 per hour.
