Video Annotation Specialist

Help improve AI systems by turning video footage of robotic arms performing tasks into precise, high-quality annotated data. This remote contract role focuses on careful visual analysis, clear documentation, and consistent application of detailed grading guidelines. Prior AI experience is not required. Role Overview

You will review robotic-arm video sessions and capture the actions, events, and behaviors shown in each segment using dedicated annotation tools. Your work will provide real-world training input for next-generation AI systems.

• Review video footage of robotic arms completing assigned tasks according to customer-provided grading guidelines.
• Tag and annotate observed actions, events, and behaviors using designated video annotation tools.
• Produce accurate, consistent annotations that reflect the activity in each video segment.
• Work with project stakeholders and contributors to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities.
• Document observations and findings clearly in writing, following project templates and protocols.
• Review peer annotations and provide constructive feedback when requested as part of quality control.
• Complete assigned video-data batches in line with submission requirements and deadlines.

• Background in video or music editing, photography, UX/UI design, filmmaking, audiovisual production, robotics, mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to make consistent, accurate visual assessments.
• Familiarity with video annotation tools or platforms.
• Excellent written communication skills for documenting perceptual observations.
• Effective time-management skills and the ability to deliver work to project requirements.
• Previous AI training-project experience involving video data is preferred.

• Remote independent-contractor engagement.
• Available to candidates located in Northern America, Latin America, Europe, the UK, and Oceania.

$50 to $90 per hour.
