Behavioral Analyst

Role Overview

Apply behavioral expertise to help train and evaluate AI systems using high-quality analysis of nuanced human behavior. This remote contract role is well suited to professionals who can interpret subtle interpersonal cues and translate their observations into clear, structured feedback. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze text, audio, and video to identify and categorize behavioral cues, including tone, gestures, and speech patterns.
• Create detailed annotations and explanations that help AI systems understand nuanced human behavior.
• Develop scenario-based training materials informed by real-world behavioral expertise.
• Work with project leads to improve annotation guidelines and deliver high-quality work.
• Review AI-generated responses and provide feedback on behavioral accuracy and appropriateness.
• Document insights and best practices for interpreting complex interpersonal interactions.
• Contribute subject matter expertise to ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Background in behavioral therapy, counseling, theater or acting coaching, or a related field involving behavioral observation and analysis.
• Ability to recognize subtle changes in tone, speech, body language, and gestures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with clarity and nuance.
• Experience creating training materials or helping others develop skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy and quality.
• Comfort with remote collaboration tools and independent work in a digital environment.
• Interest in applying domain expertise to emerging AI technologies.

Compensation

$21 to $70 per hour.
