The Social Media Manager is essential to the success of our marketing efforts. Through planning and managing Nite Ize accounts on multiple social media platforms, supporting paid social campaigns, connecting with customers, influencers and more, this person is critical to driving brand awareness and engagement.

The position for Social Media Manager is expected to be open until September 28, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Nite Ize social media strategy across relevant platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other emerging channels.
• Create and maintain a social media marketing plan and editorial calendar aligned with broader Nite Ize marketing initiatives.
• Manage and grow Nite Ize social media accounts through consistent publishing, community engagement, monitoring, and optimization.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop social campaigns that support product launches, promotions, brand initiatives, and key brand objectives.
• Develop and execute social media content both independently, and with internal and external content creators.
• Generate, edit, publish, and share content daily (original text, images, video).
• Participate in and occasionally lead the creation of social media content, including appearing on camera for product demonstrations, educational content, brand communications, and other social media initiatives.
• Assist with video and still images from concepting, through production and delivery.
• Execute and monitor paid social media campaigns and initiatives, with a primary focus on Meta Ads Manager.
• Monitor social media performance and paid media results, providing regular reporting and actionable insights to improve engagement, reach, traffic, and conversion.
• Write and edit social media copy, captions, headlines, and other digital content consistent with the Nite Ize brand voice.
• Lead community management to build meaningful relationships with existing and potential customers by moderating and responding to comments, UGC, messages, and other social interactions appropriately.
• Work with influencers and other content creators to develop and amplify brand content.
• Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, emerging technologies, and best practices, and identify opportunities for Nite Ize to experiment and grow.
• Collaborate with other departments to manage company reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach.
• Assist with crisis management including bad reviews and negative news communications, to support a positive brand presence.
• Manage donation requests generated on niteize.com and leverage appropriate opportunities for social media participation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or related field.
• 5 or more years' experience in digital marketing and social media.
• Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Knowledge and experience using Facebook Ads Manager.
• Proven experience developing and executing social media strategies for a consumer-facing brand.
• Knowledge and experience with video editing software.
• Comfortability with appearing on camera.
• Understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously and re-prioritize as needed in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with social listening, scheduling, and reporting software.
• Must be able to communicate fluently (read, write and speak) in English.
• Must be 18 or older to apply.

Work Hours: Hybrid schedule with on-site and work from home days. This is a regular, benefits-eligible position.

Hiring Compensation for Video Content Creator: Hiring pay range: $67,000 to $81,000 annual base salary, DOQ.
