Your daily tasks will adapt to the evolving needs of the practice, ensuring quality care and support for young patients and their families.Essential Responsibilities:Deliver direct and delegated patient care, maintaining awareness of normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients.Provide care aligned with established standards and guidelines, including telephone triage and patient reassurance with clear, accurate education.Ensure smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by managing medical records, preparing patients for exams, and collecting vital signs and medical histories.Observe and communicate abnormal patient signs to physicians, documenting findings thoroughly.Support patients' understanding of physician instructions upon discharge and accurately document all medical and billing information in electronic records.Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints, managing medication samples, and coordinating referrals and test results.Obtain necessary consents for invasive procedures and immunizations, distribute educational materials, and assist with patient instruction on treatments and medications.Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed.Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, ensuring cleanliness, and sterilizing instruments and equipment.Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.Education and Experience Required:High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.Graduation from an accredited nursing program.Work Shift:Full-time, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week.This opportunity is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States, offering a supportive environment for professional growth and patient-centered care.
