Job Summary: Join a compassionate healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a clinical setting. This role supports healthcare delivery and patient management, adapting daily duties to meet the evolving needs of the practice.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.
• Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triaging as necessary while offering reassurance, clear education, and guidance to patients.
• Ensure smooth healthcare service delivery throughout patient visits, maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints. Monitor and communicate abnormal symptoms to physicians, documenting all findings thoroughly.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints and dressings, managing sample medications, and coordinating referrals and patient testing.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed, ensuring all patient care areas and equipment are well-stocked, sterile, and organized according to protocols.
• Support patient education efforts by distributing materials and confirming patient understanding of treatment plans and medication usage.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in exam rooms, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.

Education and Experience Required:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or an accredited Nursing Program.

Work Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
