Job Summary
This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering strictly to infection control standards and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
- Clean and disinfect equipment and supplies, ensuring they are safe for use.
- Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste in compliance with regulations.
- Follow all infection prevention and safety policies diligently.
- Work both independently and collaboratively to fulfill department needs.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Previous related experience is advantageous.
- Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience recommended.
This position operates primarily during the 4th shift in a healthcare facility located in the Midwest region of the United States.
